Europe’s dream of promoting the euro as a competitor to the U.S. dollar may get a boost from SADDAM HUSSEIN. Iraq says that from now on, it wants payments for its oil in euros, despite the fact that the battered European currency unit, which used to be worth quite a bit more than $1, has dropped to about 82[cents]. Iraq says it will no longer accept dollars for oil because it does not want to deal “in the currency of the enemy.”
The switch to euros would cost the U.N. a small fortune in accounting-paperwork changes. It would also reduce the interest earnings and reparations payments that Iraq is making for damage it caused during the Gulf War, a shortfall the Iraqis would have to make up.

The coment on the interest own is right on the money.The fed reserve banks charges the gov interest on the money this country, use daily.I **** to sound doom and gloom,but our way of life is over.I use to work for the gov,and one of the things they do is to print money just to pay off what we owe.The only way it can change if they change the system,and they not going to do that ,forgetaboutit! They are making way to much money now and their not going to rock that boat.
It’s not just printed out of nothing. It’s loaned to us at interest.
New currency that is injected into the system only gains/steals value from what’s already in circulation.
If you saved money drawing interest at 6% and we have 6% inflation you gained nothing. If inflation goes higher than 6% you’re losing money and you’re losing the buying power of your cash on hand right now.

I’m glad this is being shared on YT even though it was talked about on the radio in 2002.
I also believe the movie Syriana in 2004 may have also touched on this with the story of the USA attempt by assassination to keep Saudi oil out of the hands of China.

Uncle Ben keeps the printing presses working overtime, and yes the money is printed, and it will bring down the value of the dollar, since it’s not back backed by gold and silver (as required by the Constitution of the United States of America)…they want to bring down the dollar, and then here comes the Amero….problem, reaction, solution is alive and well, and keeps working since the leaders lie and the people don’t question….

I dont think we print extra dollar. Doesnt seem to be logical since it will cause dollar to lose its value and thus remove the benefit of having extra dollar.

Because the United States would have to buy Euros instead of just printing money. And right now the rest of the world has to buy dollars to buy oil. This is why its called the petrodollar. This is the foundation of the dollar. Remove the requirement that oil be purchased in dollars and the rest of the world stops buying them…
I dont understand why it would be a threat or loss for U.S. to have oil traded in Euro?
Europeans are trading oil in dollar and dont lose nothing, so why would we lose if we trade with Euro?
